Contemporary Handleless Kitchen in Porcelain
PROJECT DETAILS:
A contemporary style handleless kitchen in porcelain. The kitchen was finished with contrasting apple green metro tiles in a brick bond style. Complete with flooring in distressed oak SPC. The kitchen features laser templated quartz worktops in arctic shimmer.
A full fit including plastering, tiling, flooring, plumbing and electrical work.
Design & planning:
Benchmark met with the client to discuss their needs and aspirations.
In our design and planning meetings, we discussed several styles of kitchen and colour options as well as tiling, flooring ideas and the appliances the client required.
The designer created a ‘mood board’ for the client using sample materials and fittings to illustrate how everything would work together so they could easily visualise their finished kitchen prior to the fitting stages.
The client says...
I had seen posts of Benchmark’s work through Facebook and in all the examples shown the end results looked fantastic.
I got in touch with Micky and within a short space of time he had been round to see us, given us a ball park estimate of likely costs based on our high level requirements and given us a good feeling that his team could give us what we wanted.
We arranged to visit Micky at his showroom and he talked us through the design he had completed based on our initial conversation. He was completely open to making changes and where we were unsure, shared the benefit of previous experiences and was able to guide us through the process quickly and easily. He had a large range of samples of all elements of the project so we were able to envisage the finished result relatively easily. There was no hard sell and although we had chosen our kitchen in one session, he was happy to set up further ones to ensure we were completely happy with the overall design. Micky was receptive and responsive to all my ongoing queries through phone calls or messenger and you can tell it is important to him that the customer gets what they want.
When it came to fitting the kitchen itself the team were brilliant. They started on the day agreed and finished in the timescales that were originally quoted. They were happy to accommodate some additional changes and were again available to answer any queries or to put my mind at rest if I wasn’t sure of anything.
There were a couple of small items that needed to be sorted after the kitchen was completed which is to be expected on any big project, but Micky was happy to get the team back to resolve quickly and all of the trades were keen to ensure a good job and provide a good service.
The kitchen itself is beautiful and has gone from a dark and cramped working space to a light, airy and spacious one and is a kitchen that is now being used more widely by the rest of the family and is a pleasure to cook in.
I would absolutely recommend Micky and the Benchmark team to anyone…
