Modern Kitchen with Contrasting Wall Cupboards
PROJECT DETAILS:
A modern kitchen using a light grey flat slab door for the base units with contrasting wall cupboards in white trimmed in grey. The kitchen also has a modern metro splashback in white. Tiled in a brick bond style with light grey grout. The floor is finished with large format 1200 x 600mm porcelain tiles finished with light grey grout.
A full fit including plastering, tiling, flooring, plumbing and electrical work.
Design & planning:
Benchmark met with the client to discuss their needs and aspirations.
In our design and planning meetings, we discussed several styles of kitchen and colour options as well as tiling, flooring ideas and the appliances the client required.
The designer created a ‘mood board’ for the client using sample materials and fittings to illustrate how everything would work together so they could easily visualise their finished kitchen prior to the fitting stages.

After doing such an outstanding job of our main bathroom we chose to work with Benchmark again to completely redesign our kitchen.
Micky was absolutely fantastic throughout the whole design process. He is extremely knowledgeable and his attention to detail is second to none. He is very patient, I had quite a few visits to the showroom before I was confident I had chosen the right colour scheme but Micky was very understanding and did not try to rush me into making a decision.
It was helpful being able to go to the showroom and view the kitchen displays. Micky let me take sample cupboard doors, wall tiles and floor tiles home with me in different colours/styles so I could see what they looked like in my kitchen to help with my decision.
Once the final design was agreed and a date set, It took about three weeks from start to finish to rip out the old kitchen and completely fit the new one. Any small issues that arose during the process were dealt with promptly and efficiently. Pete and his team did a fantastic job throughout. I was really impressed with the quality of their work. Adam who tiled the floor was such a perfectionist, the floor tiles we chose were extremely large at 1200mm x 600mm but he did a superb job of laying them.
The finished product looks absolutely amazing and is of outstanding quality. Everyone who walks into our kitchen just says ‘wow’. There’s not one thing I would change. I absolutely love it and I can’t thank Micky, Adam, Pete and his team enough.
